ProLine cameras provide a direct connection to FLI filter wheels. The high quantum efficiency of the 15 micron pixels of the PL23042 are ideal for extended exposures with long focal length optics. Cooling: 60 °C below ambient.

Windows 11 blocking the FLI USB driver?

Recent Windows 11 security updates add a Windows Driver Policy. It can stop the current FLI USB driver (fliusb64.sys) from loading, so ProLine cameras, along with other FLI CCD cameras and filter wheels, may not be detected. We are preparing a Microsoft-signed driver. Until it is released, Microsoft explains how to confirm the block and how to turn the policy off here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/drivers/the-windows-driver-policy

See "How do I turn off the Windows Driver Policy?" on that page. The steps depend on which Windows updates you have installed, and they need administrator rights.

Caution: Microsoft warns that turning off this policy reduces your device's security. If your PC needs the older steps, re-enable Secure Boot afterwards as Microsoft directs. Once our signed driver is available, install it and turn the policy back on.
