Monochrome cameras combined with external filter wheels provide precise control over filtering and maintain full resolution of the sensor without interpolation. FLI’s CenterLine filter wheels feature two overlapping carousels with a center aperture for a balanced telescope load.

Color filter wheels

FLI color filter wheels are precision-engineered for exceptional image quality, featuring a no-slip drive chain, stepper motor, and precision-ground pivot pin for smooth, quiet operation. Without relying on internal lights for homing, they eliminate stray light interference. Designed exclusively for unmounted filters, ensuring optimal optical performance.

Adapters

FLI cameras are available with C-mount or micro 4/3 mount. Optional Nikon F-mount and Canon EOS lens adapters give access to a full range of off-the-shelf optics. Other adapters may be available on request.
